The Sheila Rashid x Air Jordan 1 Mid “Unite” is a collaboration between the bespoke designer and Jordan Brand as part of the Unite campaign. Here, Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe is lowered in height to the mid-top silhouette, and features a distinct color block. Court Purple tumbled leather appears on the perforated toe and forefoot. From the mid-panel on, grey suede detailing is introduced into the design. The hairy material dots the mid-panel, collar overlay, and heel. Tonal “Wings” insignia is located on the collar. Leather Swooshes appear on either side of the shoe. The grey nylon tongue and tongue tag with Jumpman detailing are contrasted by purple accenting on the throat and laces. The midsole continues the split color blocking with purple paint in the same area as the upper. Release date: March 2, 2020.
