For her second Air Jordan 1 collaboration, stylist Aleali May took Michael Jordan's first signature shoe in a bold, fashion-forward direction. While May's first Jordan 1 in 2017 offered a riff on the popular "Shadow" colorway, her 2018 women's Air Jordan 1 is a completely original look. May teamed up with WNBA superstar Maya Moore on the Court Lux Air Jordan 1 that mixes a dusty pink, blue, purple, and red on the upper and contrasts the colors with a stark black. The most notable design feature of the Aleali May x Air Jordan 1 is the removable faux fur tongue patch that is unlike anything seen on the silhouette before. The release date for the limited edition Maya Moore x Aleali May Court Lux Air Jordan 1 was December 22, 2018.
